Position Description:

As the Advanced Wind Turbine Controls Engineer, you will: 

  • Apply knowledge in wind turbine control systems pairing with standard project management practices (Initiation, Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Controlling, and Closing) to support the installation and application by the end-user. 
  • Apply knowledge of wind turbine controls logic and operation procedures to present to customer to increase customer’s overall production and efficiency 
  • Apply the same knowledge of industry-wide practices and procedures to teach other engineers  
  • Attend customer visits, give presentations, and be the industry expert dealing with Wind Turbine Controls for our client
  • Upward mobility is a possibility

Other duties as assigned Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Engineering discipline
  • 10-15 years of Wind Turbine Control Systems experinece
  • Strong business acumen and ability to sell products and services to the customer
  • Strong customer service mindset
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Experience and familiarity with engineering software
  • OEM Systems experience a plus
