Supplier Quality Assistant 

JOB SUMMARY: 

  • Under the supervision of Sr supplier quality associates, the Supplier Quality Assistant will support all aspects of the Supplier Quality processes which include but not limited to:
    • Aid in the investigation of supplier quality related nonconformance’s,
    • Notify suppliers change notifications,
    • Creating/managing supplier change notifications,
    • Scanning and filing supplier related documents including material evaluation forms and service provider evaluation forms,
    • Support internal/regulatory audits on supplier quality related requests, support process improvement initiatives,
    • Cleansing of TrackWise database to ensure compliance to Supplier Quality Management process,
    • Work with Suppliers to obtain required surveys within the calendar year. 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage Supplier Survey process for calendar year including the following: 
    • Follow up and obtain surveys for supplier re-evaluation. 
    • Review and ensure surveys are completed and accurate. 
    • Assign surveys to Supplier Quality Associates and follow up to ensure timely approval. 
    • Scan and upload supplier surveys to TrackWise database and ensure the TW record is updated properly 
    • Maintain and archive Supplier Quality paper records. 
  • Coordinate and support Supplier Quality Management processes: 
    • Organize and coordinate internal assessment of change requests to ensure timely approval. 
    • Aid in finalizing the closure of open supplier records including updating Audit records, change requests, supplier issues in support of Supplier Quality Associates. 
    • Obtain necessary documentation required from suppliers to support material release 
    • Organize/clean up Supplier Quality vendor files to ensure their accuracy 
    • Maintain files for Material Evaluations and Service Providers. 
    • Support change control activities for Supplier Quality process improvements. 
    • Support Supplier Quality Associates as needed during external inspections. 
    • Work collaboratively with cross functional teams and suppliers etc. as necessary. 

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • BA/BS in technical field required. 
  • Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills. 
  • Experience with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentation & Outlook. 
  • • Ability to work with cross functional teams and apply influencing skills in a matrix environment. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Experience in working with TrackWise. 
  • General knowledge of GMP and GDP.
