Job Description

A well-regarded company focusing on patient therapies is seeking a  Sr. Training Specialist (GxP) to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work for an industry leader!


  • Coordinate, deliver, evaluate, and maintain current and future courses/programs, including but not limited to New Employee Orientation, Quality Systems modules, e-systems training modules, and the Trainer Development course.
  • Plan, schedule, prepare for, and deliver training in varied settings using varied methodologies (e.g. Instructor led, web conference, on-the-job).
  • Maintain the company-wide Learning Management System, including training items, curricula, and assignments. Perform and track periodic curricula reviews. Perform routine LMS training for new users and LMS Administrators.
  • Collaborate with managers, program, and system owners to establish curricula requirements for new and existing staff.
  • Design and develop training materials, applying principles of instructional design and adult learning theory.
  • Evaluate LMS system releases and execute test scripts.
  • Support Regulatory Inspections which may require interaction with inspectors
  • Some off-shift training support required (e.g. training of EU staff)
  • Deliver training in a variety of settings and audience size (e.g., classroom, small group, and 1:1) by using presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Must possess ability to explain complex technical concepts and tasks.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Familiarity with eLearning content development software (e.g Storyline)
  • Familiarity and knowledge of Enterprise systems including, but not limited to Learning Management System, Document Management System, Manufacturing Execution Systems/EBR/ERP.
  • Understanding of adult learning theory and participant centered training.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in education, biological sciences or related field.
  • Prefer 3-5 years’ experience in a GMP environment with a working knowledge and ability to apply  GMP in conformance to US, EU and ROW standards
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and/or prior training experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage a project from beginning to end
  • Strong collaborative, interpersonal skills, and strong facilitator skills 
  • Experience in an aseptic environment and/or Pharmaceutical environment.
