A well-regarded company focusing on patient therapies is seeking a Scientist, Analytical Development to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work for an industry leader!

Responsibilities (include but limited to):

  • Support the development of analytical assays for product release assays and characterization
  • Successfully execute and document laboratory procedures and experiments with great attention to detail
  • This position will also assist with cell biology, molecular biology and flow cytometry
  • Maintain, calibrate, operate equipment and instruments supporting cell bioassays, Flow Cytometry, ELISA and PCR assays
  • This position will also assist in the development of standard operating procedures, analytical test methods, analytical sampling plans involving immunoassays and molecular biology techniques
  • Work with a cross-functional development team to advance development of autologous cell therapy products
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • PhD with 3+ years of experience in Immunology or other Life Science Field
  • 5+ years of experience with flow cytometry or cell based bioassays, ELISA, and qPCR techniques
  • Experience in digital droplet PCR is a plus
  • Ability to follow laboratory procedures with attention to detail, and successfully execute experiments at the bench
  • Expertise in molecular biology and vector characterization techniques is a plus.
  • Experience with assay validation, release and characterization testing is highly desirable
  • Demonstrate a strong skill set and knowledge in analytical assay development and assay optimization
  • Independently motivated, detail oriented and good problem solving ability.
  • Excellent interpersonal written and oral communication skills.
