Job Description


Seeking a Research Associate with RP-HPLC experience.  Small molecules and proteins.  Exposure to Waters Empower Software .  Opportunity to learn inhalation aerosol technology. The perfect candidate is detail oriented and fluent with concentration/dilution equations.  You will be expected to create standard curves with accuracy and precision, and modify gradients to enhance HPLC performance.  Prepare  mobile phases.  The development work will follow FDA Quality control procedures and ICH guidelines.  Additionally, a solid understanding of a pH and buffers.  The ability to be flexible and work independently.  Excellent  ability to document your work in a notebook.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • HPLC (C-18 RP-HPLC).
  • HPLC Potency assays (Standard curves).
  • Interpreting and executing Standard Test Method Documents
  • Aerosol Test methods (will be trained).
    • Cascade impactor MMAD
    • Emitted dose
    • Particle size determination by Laser diffraction
  • Ultraviolet spectroscopy assay.
  • Buffer preparations.
  • Formulation stability study time points.
  • Ordering lab consumables.
  • Requirements:

  • BS in chemistry or related life science 2+ years  experience

  • Ordering lab consumables.
