Job Description:

  • Support Lab Services organization in maintaining the lab infrastructure
  • Works with R&D engineering resources in the development and implementation of new technologies in the lab space to meet project objectives.
  • Supports development of solutions and plans for upgrading lab capabilities.
  • Participates with other lab resources in coordinating, and planning preventative maintenance activities surrounding existing equipment and lab space.
  • Refines and implements test instructions to use in conjunction with new projects and test equipment
  • Understands electrical engineering principles theories, concepts, practices and techniques.
  • Initiates and completes technical activities leading to new or improved products or processes, for current and next generation projects and to meet strategic goals and objectives of the company. Cultivates internal and external network of resources to complete tasks.
  • Interacts with cross-functional customers.
  • Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System

Required Education/Experience/Skills:

  • 2 year technical degree (Associate of Science (AS), Associate of Applied Sciences (AAS)
  • Knowledgeable in Circuit design
  • Knowledgeable in Electrical safety
  • Experience in using electrical equipment, (Multi-meters, Oscilloscopes, Generators, Analyzers)
  • Basic knowledge of Medical Devices

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience in Medical devices, Electrical Testing, Lab Environments
  • Regulatory process (FDA, UL, CE, BSI, CENELEC)
