Apex Life Sciences is looking for a Quality System Technician!

Position Overview: Working closely with the Project Lead, the Quality System Technician (QST) will be responsible for configuring and building an off-the-shelf Quality Management System (QMS). The QST needs to be someone who immerses himself or herself into the project and is enthusiastic about the value put into the QMS. The QST will have guidance from the Steering Committee throughout the entirety of the project.

Project Lifespan: 12+ Months with a possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and Build the Graphic User Interface (GUI) of each module in the QMS.
  • Assist in Authoring and/or Reviewing internal validation documents that relate to the QMS.
  • Assist in Authoring and/or Reviewing SOP’s, Training Plans, and Policies that relate to the QMS, including updating current procedures as processes change during the implementation of the QMS.
  • Assist in training SME’s and End Users on the system as needed.
  • Communicate with the Project Lead and the QMS Steering Committee and provide regular updates on key milestones and tasks assigned.

  • Strong Computer Skills including Microsoft Office
  • Strong Technical Writing skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access, SQL, and VBA coding is a plus
  • Familiarity of Quality Management Systems is a plus
  • Experience in Software Validation is a plus

Desired Education

  • Associates Degree in Computer Science.
  • Bachelor’s Degree is a plus but not required.
  • 1-2 years’ working experience with Quality Systems is a plus but not required.
