Apex Life Sciences is looking for qualified individuals for a Quality Control Inspector positon for a leading contract manufacturer.

Summary of Quality Control Inspector

  • Follow work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Strict compliance with cGMP, Current Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Produce goods that meet customer requirements.
  • Inspect production area, production processes, and finished goods produced.
  • Clearance of area prior to beginning production.
  • Monitor cleanliness of production areas and if unacceptable, report to direct supervisor.
  • Prior to beginning production, monitor the proper sanitation of all production equipment.
  • Monitor for presence of product identification and sanitation cards on equipment.
  • Proper review of BOM prior to beginning production.
  • Regular measurement of fill weights, closure torque, and label placement.
  • Record, correct, and retest out of specification results.
  • Monitor proper record keeping in sanitation log books and fill records.

EDUCATION:

  • Some college level education or Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of QA/QC experience.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Two years of experience in regulated industry (Cosmetics, dietary supplements, OTCs, etc.)
