QUALITY ASSURANCE LEAD

Job Summary

The QA Manager is responsible for implementing and facilitating the quality assurance and risk management programs for all areas and levels of the company in compliance with regulations such as including GMP, cGMP, Health Canada, FDA, REACH and EU.  These programs include, but are not limited to policies and procedures, training and education, compliance investigations, monitoring, risk assessments and communications

Major Responsibilities and Duties

Lead the activities of the Quality Assurance by:

  1. Facilitate the execution of corporate objectives in the Quality Assurance Department by:

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science; preference for Chemistry
  • Minimum 5+ years of Pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Thorough knowledge of GMP/cGMP regulations and experience auditing in a GMP/cGMP environment
  • Prior QC and QA experience in FDA-cGMP environment preferred
  • Good logical and analytical skills with the ability to understand scientific issues
  • Project management experience; excellent organization and planning skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Word and Access
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
