Job Description


Food and Beverage Manufacturer is seeking a QA Coordinator to join their team!


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage, control and monitor product/customer specification forms
• Participate in Mock and Customer requested Trace Recall Drills as necessary
• Daily Hold (DMR) documentation records and file
• Customer Complaint records and file
• Manage supplier non-conformances, records and files
• Manage and review COA/COC for incoming goods
• Oversee the receiving of incoming shipments, including quality checks
• Coordinate, control, and manage sample/retention programs per customer requirements
• Assist with SOP reviews
• Coordinate, and monitor rework processes for conformance to standards
• Monitor and assist Quality Control Technicians performing in-process quality checks at the packaging lines as necessary
• Maintain records for weekly environmental monitoring and/or clean equipment swabs as required
 


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Associates preferred, 2-3 years of Quality Assurance experience in a food environment will be considered in lieu of degree
• English required, bi-lingual a plus
• HACCP Certification 
• Basic computer skills including proficiency in MS Office Products (Outlook, Word and Excel)
• Good communication skills
• Detail oriented, excellent record keeping and documentation skills
• Familiarity and understanding of Critical Control Points(CCP’s), SOP’s and Quality Standards
