Regulatory Affairs Assistant – Medical Devices

Apex Life Sciences is searching for a Regulatory Affairs Assistant for our client in Mississauga, ON. Our client is a medical device manufacturer and this role would be supporting the Regulatory Affairs team with a new supply chain project. This role is a 1-year contract with the potential for permanent hire. The position would perform various duties in supporting Government Compliance Standards. Detail-oriented candidates with excellent communication skills and a great attitude are an ideal fit!


  • Responsible for the management and organization all project documentation
  • Communication with suppliers and vendors to support and advise the Labour Standards Assurance System Management Representative
  • Assisting the Purchasing department to integrate compliance due diligence in their supply chain activities
  • Assisting with the mitigation of supply chain risk
  • Working with suppliers and vendors to drive the creation of new policies and assist in rolling them out to employees
  • Working with suppliers and vendors to establish internal compliance objectives and targets
  • Assisting in the creation of an implementation plan involving establishing appropriate data and KPIs
  • Tracking and reporting the completion of training
  • Updating internal communication systems as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or Science or Regulatory background
  • Experience in role providing administrative support (co-op welcomed!)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including World, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and OneDrive
  • Excellent computer skills, tech savvy
  • Organized and motivated
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to keep information confidential
  • Energetic, positive, and results-driven
  • Able to work at a fast pace
  • Good teamwork skills but able to work independently
