Key Aspects of Warehouse Associate: Apex Life Sciences is looking for a Shipping & Receiving Associate to work with one of our leading metal manufacturing clients in Carson, CA! The core responsibilities will include maintaining inventory levels, performing cycle counts, and preparing goods for shipment.

Compensation & Benefits: 30K Base

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain inventory accuracy and control of material stores including finished goods and raw materials 
  • Package, stage and ship finished goods. When necessary, expedite critical shipments 
  • Assist with cycle counting 
  • Responsible for the flow and movement of materials to and from the factory 
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement daily by your actions 
  • Take the initiative to resolve materials related issues with interaction from supervisor/Manager 
  • Perform other tasks as needed in support of manufacturing operations, customers and suppliers 
  •  

Requirements:

  • High school or GED
  • Minimum 2-years’ experience operating machinery 
  • Able to use measuring devices 
  • Demonstrates ability in problem solving must be self-directed 
  • Ability to provide open and honest communication 
  • Must be able to move/lift up to 30lbs (may not exceed per EHS policies) 
  • Able to read, write, and speak English
