Job Summary:

Supervises and coordinates activities of Precision Sheet.

• Reviews and distributes production orders to meet productions schedule, quantities, and specifications of products for delivery. 
• Uses production plan for operations and prioritizes shift production sequences for manufacturing materials. 
• Uses operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications. 
• Assists Superintendent to resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays. 
• Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization. 
• Apprises Superintendent of issues regarding standard work procedures (SWPs) and working practices. Observes workers to ensure compliance with standards and provides feedback to employees and management. 
• Resolves worker related problems, documents personnel issues, and submits to Management for final for approval. 
• Maintains data for production on shift. 
• Directly supervises production and maintenance employees. Responsibilities include; new employee orientation, training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; giving both verbal and written warnings in accordance with Company policy. 
• Other duties may be assigned. 
• Associates Degree from an Accredited college/university or three years supervisory experience. 
• Knowledge and skill in supervisory practices and principles. 
• Skill in both verbal and written communication.
