Portland, OR

Pay: $20/hr

Team lead needed to manage maintenance on 2nd/3rd shift

The individual in this position will successfully manage and coordinate the activities of hourly production employees in the operation of equipment and assets.

This person will be responsible for assessing and developing the performance of hourly personnel.
Accountable for execution of relevant projects within assigned area. Monitor project plans and status to ensure completion.

Communicate project or program status, work activities, and potential problems to production personnel, maintenance personnel, and appropriate others (i.e. support functions). 

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 
• 3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. 
• Demonstrated abilities in problem solving, operations management and team building. 
• Knowledge and experience of continuous improvement, Total Production Maintenance (TPM) principles, and lean six-sigma tools preferred. 

• Excellent coaching, communication and leadership skills in a team-based environment. 
• Available to work flexible hours and days as needed to meet business demands. 
• Computer proficiency MS Word, Excel, & SAP or similar system. 
• Excellent time management skills. 
• Demonstrated leadership and change management skills. 
• Demonstrated project management skills. 
• Possess a basic financial understanding to ensure results are delivered. 
• Basic knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment. 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
