Duties and Responsibilities:
The Office Supervisor position is responsible for supervising front office employees (Customer service representative, Supply Purchasing Coordinator and Production Planner) in a manufacturing environment. This position plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures and recommends improvements in production methods, operating procedures and working conditions. The incumbent will also oversee all front office activities including the reception area, mail, and facilities. The position is also responsible developing and supervising programs for the maximum utilization of customer service, production and purchase planning and execution.

This is a working supervisor position; must be able to assist and perform all job duties in all areas. Incumbent will perform Human Resources duties and functions for Bedford Park facility. This role is essential to our overall corporate objective—to ensure that the production processes results in products of maximum quality with maximum profits.

Key duties include but not limited to the following:
? Optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing costs to ensure maximum quality and efficiency.

? Ability to set daily/weekly/monthly goals and communicate them effectively to front office employees.

? Organize workflow and delegate by assigning responsibilities and formulating schedules of front office personnel.

? Supervisor and effectively coach job performance of front office employees.

? Ensure front office jobs are covered in event of employee absence.

? Ensure coordination of front office information and output with plant operations.

? Analyze and monitor production output and check for compliance with specifications.

? Ability to generate and submit reports on performance and progress

? Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including ability to spot issues in efficiency/productivity and suggest improvements.

? Code all plant invoices with the appropriate department and cost center codes for payment. ? Scan and email coded invoices to Accounting Manager.

? Update raw material pricing in SAP.


General Requirements:

? Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration required.

? Proven work experience as Office Supervisor or similar role, in a manufacturing environment.

? SAP experience strongly preferred.

? ERP experience required.

? Must pass Department of Homeland Security background check, pre-placement physical and pre-employment drug-screen.

Working Conditions:
This job operates in a manufacturing setting and professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Some of the work will require exposure to loud noises or fumes in the plant facility, collaborating with officials, plant managers and employees.
