MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST (ASCP, EIA, PCR, Immunology, Flow Cytometry)

The new hire with a BS in Medical Technology with current NYS License Responsibilities:

  • Building, testing, documenting and the conversion of designated clinical applications.
  • Demonstrate sufficient testing experience within a lab environment where you demonstrated excellent analytical, organization, and documentation skills applying skills from BS in Medical Technology or equivalent.
  • Maintain and Calibrate laboratory instruments
  • Liaison between Laboratory, Billing Operations, IT and IR.
  • Perform LIS (Laboratory Information Systems) computer maintenance and integrations.
  • Monitor LIS systems and review logs.
  • Prepare reagents, maintain Quality Control (QC) records, compile any required Statistical data 
  • Identify and escalate issues, and assist in end-user training.


  • BS in Medical Technology with current NYS License
  • Experience with Flow Cytometry, ELISA, PCR, Anti-nuclear antibody (ANA), and Immunology
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Medical Technologist (MT).
  • You must possess a New York State License as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
  • A Certification from American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) and Molecular Diagnostic and/or Nucleic Acid and PBMC preparation experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Enzyme Immunoassay (EIA)/ Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA).
  • American Society For Clinical Pathology (ASCP) networked
  • Medical Technologist (MT), New York State License required
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Medical Technologist (MT) is preferred.
  • Must have experience with LIS (Laboratory Information Systems)
