Material Sampling Technician

Great position with a dietary supplements company who is growing and adding to their team! Day shift typically working from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

This position is responsible for providing reliable and expedient sampling of all incoming materials (raw ingredients, loose bulk materials and packing components) in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.

-Execute and reinforce the Quality Control principles.

-Tasks include sampling of raw materials and components for release to production.

-Understand GMPs and use Good documentation practices.

-Work independent with minimal supervisor and complete assigned task in a timely manner and on schedule.

-Meet production and consumer needs by timely and effectively inform the status of the release criteria.

-Maintain work areas and perform job functions in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures

-Strict adherence of safety policies is required

-Perform assigned duties as needed

Skills required: Computer skills: basic excel, word. Good interpersonal skills. Organized, cleanliness and accuracy while working. Decision making. Problem solving skills. 

Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent, AAS in a science field ideal or equivalent college courses.  

Experience Preferred: Experience in a regulated environment (preferred pharmaceutical, dietary supplements manufacturing, or cleanroom environment).

Communicate effectively with good written and oral communication skills
Interact positively and collaborate with co-workers and management
Self-directed with ability to organize and prioritize work
Normally receives little instruction on routine work and general instruction on new assignments.
