Job Description


Our client, a leading developer of diagnostic devices, is seeking multiple Manufacturing Technicians to join their expanding team.

  • Responsible for basic operation, cleaning and ongoing maintenance of laboratory tools and equipment using established maintenance procedures and calendars.
  • Maintains glassware by picking-up, cleaning, washing, sterilizing, and distribution.
  • Keeps laboratory supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
  • Fulfills Customer Orders including Inventory picking, product packaging, and completing shipment documentation.
  • Lifts and carries laboratory equipment, laboratory soft goods, samples and other materials throughout work area.
  • Prepares associated products such as buffers, salt solutions, and master mixes for company reagents and products in accordance with established and approved SOP’s.
  • Responsible for accurate completion of manufacturing and quality control documentation, both Product and Process.
  • Documents facilities and equipment information by maintaining daily logs and equipment record books.
  • Performs multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy and thoroughness despite time pressures.
  • Is attentive to detail with all measurements, calculations, equipment settings, and documentation thereof.
  • Participates in various projects by assisting project team; attending and participating in group and project meetings.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
  • Show a willingness to expand the parameters of this position and contribute to the increased productivity of the position.
  • Maintain a strict adherence to all safety procedures and show reasonable aptitude for recognizing potential safety challenges to themselves and others.

Knowledge/Skills Required:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent with 2-3 years industry experience
  • Basic algebraic and mathematical skills
  • Able to take direction, understand and follow through
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
