Job Summary

Apex Life Sciences is seeking a qualified Manufacturing Technician III for a prominent pharmaceutical company in Maple Grove, MN. You will be responsible for performing support functions for manufacturing operations, including troubleshooting equipment and process issues, and performing and documenting machine maintenance procedures. Additionally, it is expected that you will partner with engineering in developing methods and procedures to control or modify manufacturing processes Candidates with medical device background are strongly preferred!

This will be a 12 month contract with strong possibility to extend.

This position is Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to computers, Operating Systems, applications, and peripherals used on our manufacturing lines. This support can be via telephone, remote interface, or in person.
  • Implementation of new applications, hardware, Operating Systems and infrastructure equipment.
  • Organizes and performs Installation, Move, Add, Changes (IMAC) of applications, computers, and other hardware.
  • Performs hardware and software compatibility tests for monthly/quarterly security patching, application and Operating System updates.
  • Maintains and installs network infrastructure equipment and implements necessary changes.
  • Provides guidance and technical expertise for users related to system or software related purchases and instruction on computer hardware and applications.

Basic Qualifications:

  • AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 3 years of related experience.
  • Previous experience with direct manufacturing support of Windows based computers.
  • Previous experience interfacing directly with manufacturing customers to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience installing and loading software on Windows based computers.
  • Experience with McAfee protection applications such as Solidcore (a managed whitelisting application).
  • Experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks and effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $25.00 to $30.00 /hour
