Job Description


  • Supports the manufacturing processes relative to the department/area in which they are assigned.
  • Operate manufacturing equipment based on the established written procedures and work rules.
  • Responsible for product quality and safety on the assigned line and for achieving production standards in both quantity and quality.
  • Understand and follow cGMP and safety guidelines as required.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform light cleaning in order to maintain clean operating environment.
  • Write maintenance summaries of assembly and workstation areas as needed. Execute quality checks in accordance to department/area requirements and document findings.
  • Stocking, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal may be included. It is critical to be on time and available for each scheduled shift.


  • Minimum of High School/High School Equivalent

Required Experience:

  • Must reflect on resume: 1+ or more years in a Lab or Manufacturing environment required.
  • Other requirements include: Heavy lifting, working in a lab gowned for long periods of time, hot and cold environments.

Request Preferences:

  • Past lab experience.
  • Experience handling blood.
  • Experience working in a fast paced production facility.
  • Ability to multitask, plan ahead, time management skills
  • Follow safety rules and regulations.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks without guidance.
  • Complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the highest level of professionalism.
  • Have problem solving abilities.
  • Able to follow direction, constructive criticism.
  • Able to use sharp tools for dissection.
  • Able to handle the sight of animal blood.
  • Must be comfortable undressing in a locker room to wear sterile scrubs.
  • Able to work overtime, come in to work early/stay late.

Additional Requirements:

  • Candidates or workers who own birds at their personal property or have come in contact with birds within the last 48 hours are not permitted at the facility.
  • Candidates who come in regular contact with any kind of birds are ineligible for this assignment
  • For manufacturing roles, gowning will require changing clothing in a gender specific common area. Suited in 'A' attire some days for over 6 hours, wear a respirator.
