Job Description

Apex Life Sciences is looking for multiple Maintenance Technicians for our client in Denver, CO. This is a contract to hire opportunity with a chance to join an awesome team begin a new career.

Job Duties:

  • Following all safety rules and procedures.
  • Planning, implementing, and performing preventative maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels. 
  • Proactive Maintenance
  • Able to confidently communicate by telephone and email issues to Internal and External resources. 
  • Manage plant floor issues and address multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  • Excellent communication skills, keeping teams informed of repair or installation status
  • Use in depth knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulics. 
  • The ability to troubleshoot, repair and install facility and production equipment in an efficient manner to minimize operation downtime
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot machine control systems; Electrical skills, voltmeter, understand PLC Input/Output information, up and running management.
  • Performing emergency breakdown maintenance as necessary to support plant operations.
  • Installing, moving, and / or removing equipment and /or parts of equipment.
  • Maintaining clean and organized work areas, and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks.
  • Accurately and completely preparing and maintaining maintenance records, purchasing documents, payroll records, and other paperwork.
  • Maintaining team work with all other employees

Knowledge/ Experience:

  • Knowledge and ability to perform equipment and system preventative maintenance and inspection;
  • Ability to identify proper parts, materials and tools needed for repairs and installations
  • Ability to read and comprehend diagrams, schematics, operating and maintenance manuals
  • Ability to accurately use measurement and test equipment;
  • Computer literate within a Microsoft environment; Touchscreens, HMI Screens
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude, ability to identify and evaluate complex technical issues, providing solutions
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English;
  • Must be able to bend, reach and squat, lift/push/pull 50-75 lbs;
  • MUST be able to work overtime and weekends if needed for Production, Planned and Unplanned outages.
