Job Description


Apex Life Sciences is Recruiting for a Human Resources 3 position to assist with new hire onboarding process which includes:

• Track candidates through pre-employment screening (drug screen, background check including MVR, and medical clearance).

• Assist candidates and hiring managers through the process as needed to ensure timely completion of tasks

• Provide status updates to all stakeholders (recruiters, hiring managers)

• Maintain spreadsheet to track completion

• Build new hires in various HR systems prior to start date

Employee Changes

• Process all employment status changes for new hires and existing employees (promotions, transfers, supervisor/organization/cost center changes, terminations).

• Ensure all data in Oracle is maintained to the highest integrity.

Forward unemployment documentation quickly to ensure that it can be processed and provide necessary documentation when requested.

Employee Time File Management and Processing via Kronos

• Provide support to supervisors for any Kronos issues.

• Responsible for processing weekly/bi-weekly US payrolls.

• Manage people record information (new hire updates; accrual balance information; employee transfers/LOA status’, etc.).

• Report to IT via ticketing system any software issues or time clock issues and ensures that time system clocks are operating properly.

Random drug screen process:

• Manage random and ADI drug screen process for pool of 600+ employees via HireRight.

• Accountability for the administration of all random drug screen paperwork and follow up, consulting with the HR Manager as necessary.

• Verify accuracy of billing and process invoices for payment.

Other Items:

• Maintain personnel files and correct Oracle data integrity information for all locations; provide administrative support as required to HR Managers.

• Review and respond to all emails that are sent to the HR Support mailbox on a daily basis.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of HR support experience. Manufacturing environment is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills as this role interacts with all levels within the organization

• Strong computer skills with ability to catch on quickly

• Proficiency in Word and Excel

• Kronos Time Management System proficiency

• Demonstrated ability to appropriately handle sensitive/confidential information; maintain composure under pressure and work without close supervision

• High attention to detail

• Superior prioritization ability

• Ability to work in a team environment to complete tasks as needed
