GMP Beverage Process Technician- 3rd shift

The GMP Process Technician will be responsible for supporting production process of extraction, clarification, blending and filling according to formulations from start to finish. This individual will initiate set up, run, trouble shoot, and changeover of lines.  The Process Technician will be responsible for working in accordance with quality, food safety and product specifications. This role will also ensure all activities are handled in accordance with the companies mission, business philosophy, ethics, and goals.


  • Monitor and control process parameters utilizing plant process control system
  • Unpack tea ingredients; beverage products and ingredients inventory, inspection and testing
  • Set up and changeovers on the production line.
  • Trouble-shoot of equipment and process problems.
  • Work effectively at changeovers to ensure that they happen within the allocated time
  • Monitor quality assurance controls during the production process
  • Monitor equipment, raw materials, and supplies to ensure maximum production on the line.
  • Maintain line checks, gather and deliver samples for lab.
  • Complete all required paperwork.
  • Work safely following the Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Understand and follow safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, food safety, and other rules or policies


  • Inspection of the goods produced.
  • Sample Management.
  • Manage time and plan ahead.
  • Optimize operating of equipment and cleaning of equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Assist in routine maintenance functions.
  • Maintaining general house- keeping, removal of trash, cleaning of work area.
  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

  • Familiar with USDA/FDA regulations /environment.
  • Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP), Beverage Formulation, Food & Beverage ingredients 
  • Inspection skills from being an inspector in a production and manufacturing setting with GMPs, under FDA and or USDA guidelines. OSHA adherence.
  • Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and written.
  • Must be a team player, flexible and have good time management skills.
  • Must be quality conscious and detail oriented.
  • Must be able to work overtime and or start earlier / stay late as needed.
  • Mechanically inclined and understand the production process.


  • Bachelor’s Degree (BS), High school (HS) graduate, GED or an Associate’s (AS) Degree in Process Technology (P-tech Degree)
  • Lab and or production or manufacturing environments, GMP, OSHA, quality assurance, quality control, QA/QC inspection skills
  • Good documentation skills. Good computer skills
  • Food and Beverage production and willingness to wear PPE safety equipment experience preferred
