Overview:

The Facilities Maintenance Manager helps maintain production benchmarks. This involves regular analysis of the facility and application of automated and machine process, as well as making necessary adjustments to improve efficiency. The Facilities Maintenance Manager along with our team will provide statistical analysis of various mechanical improvements to assess cost and benefits.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular inspections of all mechanical process and machinery in the facility, and work to correct any defects.

- Works collaboratively with organizational leadership to ensure that all facilities systems are designed and maintained to meet the business needs.

- Coaches, counsels and manages performance of direct reports.

- Establish and maintain internal controls to support financial infrastructure.

- Oversee safety and appearance of the facilities and equipment

- Utilize a sophisticated computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for effective performance and quality control of maintenance requests, preventive and predictive maintenance, maintenance projects, budgeting and prioritizing of all work

- Manages contracted vendors in support of maintenance services necessary for compliance, performance and cost effectiveness.

- Develops and follows project schedules for implementing equipment into the plant

- Prepares plant capital budget and initiates capital projects to include engineering requests

- Develop and monitor department metrics to measure and evaluate system performance, risks, repair and replacement needs, energy efficiency and cost effectiveness.

- Train and enforce safety procedures and all applicable regulations.

- Establish department goals and supporting metrics based on company objectives

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

- Minimum of five (5) year’s work related experience in Engineering Maintenance

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office

- Proficient in SAP Business One

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
