PRODUCTION WORKER NEEDED IMMEDIATELY FOR A LARGE AGRICULTURAL COMPANY IN DES MOINES



**This would be a three-step position with ensured promotion pending performance**

  • First, you would be a production operator, learning the methodologies of the shipment of the final product
  • From here, you would promoted in to the role of weight-technician, taking weights of trucks before and after the pickup of goods, to track product
  • Lastly, you would promoted into the role of QA Tech, working inside of the lab to ensure the quality of the product before it is loaded and weighed to be shipped

Description:

  • Operator
    • Eyes and ears for operators - direct communication via radio
    • Changing filters
    • Working checklists
    • Cleaning/hosing floors
  • Weight-Tech
    • Load oil onto trucks w/ training on the load process
    • Run PC system that tracks weights in/out
    • Some Caterpillar work
  • QA Tech
    • Analysis of all oil being loaded into tankers
    • Monitors analysis on computer system and make changes - fully automated plant and system so mostly computer work. 

Requirements:

  • High/School Degree or GED
  • Some familiarity with Chem/Bio - in the background is GREAT!
  • Strong work-ethic and a self-motivator
  • OK with heat in the summer and cold in the winter
  • Mechanically inclined is preferred**
  • Farming background is not required, but is very much preferred**
