Job Description

Seeking a talented, entry level engineer for one of the world's leading medical device companies! This Reliability Technician will be working on cutting edge technology in North Haven, CT. Shift: 3rd Shift (11 P.M. - 7:30 A.M.) with some OT available

Pay Rate: $20.70/hr

Contract Length: 1 year

Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs a variety of technical procedures such as preparing routine solutions and reagents and performing routine reactions.
  • Makes and records observations; performs simple calculations; and collects and prepares data for evaluation.
  • Conducts laboratory support functions such as stocking and distributing supplies and equipment; arranging and dismantling apparatus; and collecting, washing, and storing glassware.
  • Performs technical and record keeping duties in conformance with company and regulatory policies and standards to meet quality and accuracy requirements.
  • May analyze compounds and manage corporate compound collection.
  • Performs technical procedures in one or more of the following areas: Production, Research and Development, Quality Control/Assurance, and/or Compliance/Environmental.

Necessary Qualifications:

  • 4-year Engineering Degree (Biomedical, Chemical, Mechanical or other related degree)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
  • Strong documentation skills

Nice to Have:

  • Co-op/intern experience in a regulated industry (medical device strongly preferred, but aerospace and pharma also considered)
