Job Description


Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, prototype, implement and support testing of electronic batch records (eBRs) and workflows.
  • Revise existing eBRs using a library of S88 validated objects.
  • Provide end-user support in real time.
  • Perform Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) master data management (creation, maintenance)
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, documenting and resolving MES related issues.
  • Perform end-user training on the FactoryTalk Pharma Suite application.
  • Work with process SME's in the various areas to define business requirements and processes.
  • Lead or contribute in process mapping exercises.
  • Identify and capture potential efficiencies in business processes during the translation of batch records from paper to electronic format.
  • Work collaboratively with IT organizations and effectively leverage shared resources.
  • Follow CSV and Project Management Methodology (PMM). Create and execute, as appropriate, supporting life cycle deliverables (Functional Specifications,Test Scripts, design documents, protocols, etc.) associated with  operations systems.
  • Provide helpdesk and off-hours support to manufacturing.

Qualifications              

  • Bachelor Degree in a Science Based Program, Engineering,  Information Technology or other relevant disciplines and work related experience.
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), OPC Communications, SSRS, SAP, Crystal Reports, Java, Peanuts, IT networks, SQL queries desired; Proficiency with commonly used office software.
  • Ability to evaluate record and system related problems and be able to devise cause and effect relationships in order to propose solutions. Ability to comprehend technically complex concepts
  • Ability to effectively communicate via writing and oral communication at all levels.  Express ideas effectively in individual and group situations (including non-verbal communication).
  •  Ability to communicate to internal and external personnel. Ability to convey complex concepts and information in both a technical and non-technical way.
  • Ability to secure relevant information and identify key issues and relationships from a base of information.  Relate and compare data from different sources and identify cause and effect relationships.
  • Ability to keep customers/requesters and management apprised of status of work under your direction.  Ability to maneuver around hurdles and develop creative solutions to accomplish goals/tasks.
  • Ability to establish a project plan that outlines the course of action for self and/or others to accomplish a specific goal and meet the needs of the business.
