Document Control Specialist

Great position with a dietary supplements company who is growing and adding to their team! Day shift typically working from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

This position is responsible for developing and maintaining manufacturing records based on a template for use in a cGMP environment.

Responsibilities

  • Use templates provided to develop manufacturing records for use in production areas
  • Issue manufacturing records to production personnel on as needed basis
  • Develop specification document for each individual product manufacture at or on behalf of the company
  • File documents according to company filing system
  • Comply with all cGMP and regulatory requirements established by FDA and NSF
  • Perform assigned tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum of 1 year in the FDA regulated environment
  • Must have experienced in quality related documentation management including batch records, SOPs, and cGMP
  • Must have some fundamental knowledge of the Change Management and Deviation Management processes in the FDA regulated environment.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be proficient in the use of computers including a wide variety of word processing and spreadsheet software packages
  • Must be detail oriented; must be precise and organized in handling of documents
  • This position requires a thorough knowledge of computer applications in the Microsoft Office Suite; including scanning of documentation.
  • Solid organizational skills required; must be able to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Some physical movement of document files/boxes is required
