Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning, setting up, and conducting PK studies in rodents
  • Responsible for all associated paperwork and maintenance of an electronic Lab note book.
  • Maintain relevant laboratory equipment for optimal productivity, keep inventory and purchase supplies
  • Perform technical duties such as in vivo dosing of rodents via various routes including intramuscular, intravenous, intradermal, subcutaneous, and oral routes followed by organ harvesting and tissue processing for analysis


  • Applicants should possess a BS in a Biological Science or related coursework and at least 1 year of hands on experience with laboratory rodents
  • Must demonstrate excellent animal handling skills
  • Working knowledge of automated blood samplers would be a bonus although not essential.
  • He/she will demonstrate high productivity while maintaining high quality of work
  • Must have demonstrated the ability to conduct laboratory research
  • Proficiency with in vivo techniques, e.g. p.o, s.c, i.v, i.p. injections and organ harvesting
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly understand complex concepts and laboratory procedures
  • He/she will demonstrate high productivity while maintaining high quality of work
  • This individual is also expected to be highly organized, a team player, enthusiastic about drug discovery, and possess strong communication skills
