Apex Life Sciences is seeking a Director of Purchasing and Materials for one of our Pharmaceutical clients located in Maryland.

The Director will be responsible for overseeing a staff of 4 employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Purchase all materials (raw, chemicals, clerical/administrative) for entire company.
  • Manage multiple vendors.
  • Research and shop vendors.
  • Ensure delivery of products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in purchasing.
  • Minimum of 1 year working as a Supervisor or Manager.
  • Highly organized.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Lean or Six Sigma experience strongly preferred.
