Job Description

Our client, a industry pioneer with over 20 years of experience developing and manufacturing diagnostic products and reagents, is seeking a Creative Director. The Creative Director will Lead the creative services group to produce professional grade design work and promotional materials that effectively represent the company’s products and services to customers and prospects.


  • Oversees the successful completion of projects using calendar updates, project timelines and milestones.
  • Develops the company’s brand strategy over time building a simplified brand book and style templates as brand elements are solidified.
  • Manages the company’s website, including any contracted website redesign services, to keep the website current, impactful, elegant and easy to navigate by applying the best practices for web design in combination with creative digital content.
  • Produces an accurate and updated product catalog annually that effectively leverages the company’s branding and meets print timelines.
  • Designs updated tradeshow booths and the creative graphics for pull-up banners, keynote presentations, symposia invitations, email campaigns, promotional literature, and scientific posters.
  • Coordinates all video work done by and for the company. Manages the growing video library so that the assets therein are easy to find, play back and share.
  • Produces print advertisements to required specifications as required using eye catching creative design with intelligent copy that serves to engage the reader and drive action.
  • Coordinates and contributes to projects relating to operational matters, such as technical updates of labeling and packaging.
  • Creates and maintain business identity items such as business cards and letter heads.
  • Produces creative output for other company departments such as Operations or Regulatory when needed and when available.
  • Reviews all creative content being produced for grammatical and spelling accuracy.
  • Cooperates and respectfully communicates with external and internal customers.


  • A bachelor’s degree in a creative discipline ideally involving digital or print design.
  • 3+ years of experience in team-based, commercial and creative design work.
  • Intermediate to expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite software including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign is required.
  • Experience with website design, development and maintenance via a CMS is preferred.
  • Professional photography experience is beneficial.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to follow Standardized Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and respond to changing priorities.
  • Superior presentation and analytical skills, plus demonstrated skills to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and take on new challenges.
