Contracts and Proposals Manager

Responsibilities

  • Lead the proposal process by managing cross-functional resources to complete proposals.
  • In-house contact for Business Development & Sponsors, to support setup requests for Proposals in close collaboration with involved employees of global affiliates
  • Ensure that contracts are in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, government regulations and customer specifications.
  • Keep track of all documents required during the initial phase of a clinical project awarded to Company (e.g. budget versions, contracts, laboratory specifications, etc.)
  • Updates budgets for ongoing projects by coordinating process control with the Finance and Project Management Departments
  • Involved in all aspects of contract and proposal development
  • Translates service requirements into a business proposal
  • Follow up of the contracting process
  • Assist the Business Development Department Head  and contribute in optimizing relevant workflow processes (eg Request for Proposal, Request for Change, Financial follow up studies, Contract Execution etc)

Requirements

  • Minimum Master’s degree in science (Biomedical, Bio-engineer, etc) with at least 2 years of experience in the CRO business (preferably central laboratory services)
  • Excellent understanding of government contract laws and regulations is preferred
  • The ability to manage multiple contracts of varying types and size through the contract administration process
  • Knowledge of the legal and regulatory aspects of the clinical trial business is a plus
  • Fluent in office applications (Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook)
