Job Description

**WE ARE LOOKING FOR A CONSTRUCTION MANAGER FOR A MAJOR CHEMICAL COMPANY IN HOUSTON, TX**

Responsibilities:

• Participate in capital project kick off meetings, progress meetings, and early development of major capital projects. 
• Responsible for HSEQ guidelines and implementation with external contractors, subcontractors and capital contractors; plus construction management staff to meet compliance requirements. 
• Oversee the field implementation of capital and expense projects by administering the use of general discipline specific & specialty contractors for planning, execution and closeout. 
• Participate in the implementation or construct ability analysis and reviews for capital and expense projects in FEL1, 2, 3 and Detail Engineering to confirm that the scope of work and proper information is available for estimating.
• Responsible and accountable for controlling and managing the field execution, cost, schedule and quality activities to meet the Project Management requirements 
• Responsible for management of all Capital Project compliance of schedule and cost of all field executed work by contractors and subcontractors.

Requirements:

• Minimum 15 years experience in Heavy Industrial Construction Capital Projects and Turnarounds
