Description:

  • This individual is primarily responsible for performing technical troubleshooting and analytical testing related to complaints and associated investigations.
  • This position requires hands on product testing and documenting test results into the corporate complaint system.
  • Investigative trend analysis of the complaint database is often required.
  • The individual will also support the corporate stability program, raw material testing, expired material control and proficiency testing.

Duties:

  • Perform/Coordinate complaint testing and lead complaint investigations to satisfactory resolution.
  • Document complaint investigations into corporate complaint system
  • Support root cause QC investigations and other product investigations.
  • Support functional and analytical testing of incoming raw materials.
  • Support product stability studies of new and existing diagnostic products.
  • Support Test Group Sofia QC Testing of WIP Production lots and special evaluation assignments.
  • Support expired material control in the functional area.
  • Performs investigative trend analysis of complaints.
  • Carry out duties in compliance with established business policies.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor of Science in Biology or Chemistry 1-3 years’ experience in a Quality Control environment.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in Complaint investigations Knowledge/Skills Previous experience in Post Market Surveillance is preferred. FDA GMP and ISO 13485 General chemistry lab experience a plus. Statistics/sampling skills preferred Technical troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis Problem solving Good communication and computer skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high pace and dynamic working environment Biacore experience preferred
