Job Description


Apex Life Sciences is seeking a Complaint Investigations Technician to work at our client’s location! This is a contract-to-hire, full time position, Monday – Friday, with flexibility between 1st and 2nd shift.

Description:

Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – Other duties may be assigned:

  • Perform routine testing (physical, chemical or functional) on product returned from the field due to a customer complaint, using a variety of lab equipment.
  • Process customer returns in a timely manner in accordance with ISO and FDA QS Reg
  • Support company goal for timeliness of complaint investigations and closures Perform static and dynamic analysis on full systems and sub assembly.
  • Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting IVDs and Biologics.
  • Must have good written and oral communications skills
  • Must possess good laboratory practices, including handling of chemicals and biohazardous materials
  • Must possess proficient computer skills and documentation skills

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma with 5 years of experience in relevant industry
  • AA degree in Engineering
  • Experience in the medical device industry
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience with biohazard materials

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Multimeter experience
  • Electronics manufacturing assembly

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of electronics manufacturing assembly
  • Knowledge of electronics
