  • This contractor will be responsible for clinical administrative operations activities involving clinical finance support.
  • The staff member will complete responsibilities in a timely, organized way; identify issues/problems; provide customary recommendations for issues / problems solutions.
  • The main focus will be finance with reviews and understanding of clinical contracts as applicable to invoices and other finance activities.
  • This position will coordinates and ensures that monthly payment processes are completed accurately and on time.
  • This contractor will work on diverse business problems that require financial analysis with only general instructions from more senior individuals in department.
  • The role will assist the clinical teams (operational and CCF) in resolving financial issues as they relate to either site or vendor invoices or contract compliance.
  • The person will have frequent contact with external customers in regards to payment issues.
  • This function also supports Quarterly Variance Analysis process for large dollar vendor contracts.
  • The staff member will do the preparation, and tracking of global study financial analysis, which includes working with study specific budget templates, contracts and other documents with specific guidance from manager.
  • Responsible for tracking the progress of a study as it relates to contracts and budgets and various activities.
  • This person will assist the clinical teams in evaluating the progress of vendor contracts as the clinical program progresses.
  • This contractor should demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • The candidate should be able to perform routine work without detailed instructions, create new work processes to improve task efficiency, work under moderate supervision and complete complex tasks under general supervision.
  • The person should demonstrate proficiency in the use of complex accounting, reporting, budgeting, & forecasting software and database tools, including Excel and Word.
  • The position will need to interact well with clinical teams and corporate finance, working as a go-between at times to explain each of these to the other.
