Job Description


Global Medical Device Company in Orange County is seeking a Clinical Contracts Analyst to join their team!

Duties:

  • Using approved templates, draft, redline and negotiate certain types of contracts, including Confidentiality Agreements, Statements of Work, Purchase Agreements, contract amendments, and Letters of Termination.
  • Using approved budget templates, negotiate trial budgets with clinical sites to ensure compliance with Edwards' approved guidelines and alignment with fair market value.
  • Provides contracts administration support from contract initiation to final execution for all clinical site contracts, including facilitating signatures and providing back-up support for THV Europe clinical contracts Submits propose contracts drafts and supporting documentation through the company's designated electronic contracts management system.
  • As requested, generate contracts status report from designated systems.
  • Works collaboratively with various departments in order to process contract related requests from the field, including the company Legal, Compliance and THV Finance, as well as clinical project managers, field representatives, and clinical leadership team.
  • Interacts with clinical sites in a professional and effective manner (verbal and written interaction) Upload fully-negotiated contracts and applicable supporting documentation into company's ECLM system and follow through to full execution.
  • Manages workload and multiple priorities to meet tight deadlines while maintaining department productivity standards, identify specified contracts in contract management system, extract legally-pertinent contract provisions and summarize applicable clauses and terms for special projects.
  • Assist with miscellaneous projects as  assigned

Skills:

  • Possess excellent oral, written, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines with flexibility; ability to effectively manage priorities
  • Possess the ability and comfort to interact with all levels of management
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Power Point desired
  • Experience with clinical trials strongly preferred
  • Experience with electronic contracts management system(s) preferred

Experience:

  • Four year college degree or formal paralegal certification or equivalent training required
  • Minimum 1-2 years in a clinical environment or 1-2 years contracts drafting experience preferred
  • Higher education degree or professional certification may be considered in lieu of experience
