Job Description

Chemistry Technician


  • Conduct routine chemical & physical analyses of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.  Testing methods may include ICP, x-ray, pH conductivity, nitrogen pousymetry, wet chemistry, etc.  
  • Work in fast-paced, high throughput industrial lab environment while accurately record results and keep all records neat and organized. 
  • Effectively communicate results to Production personnel and other customers and work to meet their needs/deadlines.
  • Follow all procedures carefully, and work to ensure that all data are accurate.  Screen data generated, and take appropriate steps to ensure all data are accurate and timely.


  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or equivalent is required. 
  • Qualified candidates will have prior experience in a wet laboratory environment.  Preferred candidates will have prior ICP, X-ray, or environmental lab experience. 
  • Ability to perform laboratory calculations, interpret data, and an understanding of basic laboratory chemistry. 
  • Must be able to distinguish color changes associated with laboratory testing.
  • Candidate must be flexible to work schedule, rotating shifts, & weekend/holiday work as needed.
