Job Description



1. A good safety and attendance record.

2. Thorough understanding of the importance of customer service and the ability to work cooperatively with other departments and personnel in meeting customer needs.

3. Previous experience with filling is helpful.

4. High school diploma or equivalent.

5. Ability to understand and comply with all company policies and procedures pertinent to the Corrosive Department.

6. Ability to understand and carry out Corrosive Department process descriptions     applicable to the job.

7. Willingness to accept overtime (both scheduled and impromptu), to be subject to and available for call-in, and to work other shifts as needed to meet customer needs.

8. Ability to wear full coverage PPE.


  1. Work within and adhere to the safety practices established within the company.
  2. Meet or exceed production requirements based on information and/or equipment used in the course of work performance.
  3. Preventive maintenance of equipment used in the course of work performance.
  4. Maintaining accurate record keeping within the department.
  5. Review established production schedule to ensure requirements are being met.
  6. Product filling into drums and portable totes and lining up on pallets.
  7. Container preparation (labeling, checking, stenciling, cleaning, etc.)
  8. Equipment maintenance
  9. Product sampling and quality control in conjunction with Laboratory personnel.
  10. Maintain clean working environment.
  11. Loading/unloading of inbound/outbound tankers.
  12. Unloading Rail Cars.
  13. Maintains assigned production area and assures that it is operated within operating procedures.
  14. Assists in performance documentation of Daily Area Safety Inspections.

  • Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process, and quality system
  • Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels
  • Verify the implementation of solutions
  • Control further processing, delivery or installation of non-conforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.

Our quality policy and objectives provide direction for decision making in these matters, especially for personnel responsible for quality that need the organizational freedom and authority to stop production or delivery, if necessary to correct potential problems.
