Job Description

We are searching for an Assistant Director- Bioanalytical to join one of the fastest growing Pharmaceutical companies in Rockville, MD!  (HPLC, LC/MS, Method Development, Sample preparation)


We are looking for an Assistant Director to help our growing team manage bioanalytical method development, sample analysis, and method validation.  The Assistant Director will oversee the training and development while supervising a small team of chemists and scientists.  

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve data/reports to ensure accurate processing of data
  • Head the management of bioanalytical method development, validation, and sample analysis testing
  • Troubleshoot, develop, and improve biological sample preparation and and extraction method development
  • Be a technical leader to bioanalytical chemists and scientists
  • Train chemists and scientists on bioanlytical methods and laboratory procedures
  • Write SOPs and technical reports

Education Requirements:

  • PhD with 3+ years of pharmaceutical bioanalytcial method development
  • MS with 9+ years of pharmaceutical bioanalytcial method development
  • BS with 11+ years of pharmaceutical bioanalytcial method development

Experience Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of HPLC and LC/MS method development 
  • 5-10 years of bioanalytical sample preparation/extraction
  • Experience in GxP environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Supervisory experience is a plus
  • Experience in a CRO is a plus


  • This position can pay up to $120,000 depending upon experience
