Aftermarket Forecasting Analyst

Apex Life Sciences is searching for an Aftermarket Forecasting Analyst for our client based in Toronto, ON. Our client is a large engineering firm and they have 2 contract openings, 12-15 months in length. Candidates experienced in logistics, sales and forecasting are desired.

Main responsibilities:

  • Using historical data available from internal and external sources, analyze the potential market size and develop innovative aftermarket solutions to generate revenue growth while reducing direct maintenance costs.
  • Based on the data analysis, provide insights and recommendations to improve  sales and repair revenue and establish year-over-year growth targets
  • Work with component repair and alternative part suppliers to build detailed action plans and integrate the plans into product strategy.
  • Put together business cases for industry collaborations with repair and alternative parts vendor.
  • Present the business cases to senior management for review and approval.

Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Operations Management. MBA is an asset.
  • Minimum of five (5) year experience.
  • Strong sense of ethics and are business-focused.
  • Good analytical, negotiation, planning and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Strong problem solving capability with strategic orientation
  • Strong communication skills and are comfortable in communicating with senior management.
