Job Description

Apex Life Sciences is looking for a Quality Inspector in the Greater Los Angeles area! This a great opportunity to work with a growing team!


Responsible for performing dimensional inspections, gage calibrations or nondestructive tests. Must be able to work closely with individuals and teams to support production and quality teams. 


  • Must be able to read and interpret work instructions, routers, blue prints, drawings and specifications 
  • Must be able to gather, analyze, and evaluate data to make independent decisions in accordance to company policies and objectives 
  • Incumbent must be familiar with manufacturing process and product flow to troubleshoot and rectify product issues 
  • Must be able to communicate critical decision making to management 
  • Prepare, develop and modify inspection documentation as required by work instructions 
  • Must be able to communicate critical decision making to management 
  • Train new employees in inspection positions as required 
  • Perform Dimensional Inspection of all characteristics of manufactured products 
  • Perform AS9102 1st Article using appropriate drawings or specification to verify part acceptability 
  • Must be proficient and able to train others in First Article requirements per AS9102 
  • Know and understand Federal Aviation Administration requirements and impacts on the business 
  • Evaluate MRB disposition for accuracy and acceptability 
  • Actively lead process improvement 
  • Keep work area clean, sage and in orderly fashion 
  • Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and practices. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor 
  • Participate in proactive team effort to achieve departmental and company goals 
  • Perform other duties as assigned 
  • Routine duties are performed with minimal or no supervision 
  • Prioritize and handle multiple task simultaneously 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent 
  • 5-10+ yrs experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic computer skills 
  • Good communications skills. 
  • Good organizational skills. 
  • Must pass required applicable certification tests.
