  • Mobile Phone Administrator @ Florham Park NJ
  • Pay $25.00 Work Hours: 40 hours Mon-Fri, start 7:30/8:30am, 8 hours a day with 30 min lunch.
  • We are replacing employee's company mobile phone (7,000 phones) and this team will be responsible to coordinate the shipping with vendor and assisting employees with new phone activation.
  • Strong customer services and Excel skills are required. A degree preferred, but not required. Background in call center, technical help desk, corporate IT may be good. mobile phone retail may be considered.
  • Support Mobile Phone Rollout Project in 2018 - order, track and distribute a roll out in the USA of over 7,000 phones
  • Duration of assignment: March 2018 – December 2018 (approximately 8 months)
  • The skills needed for this position are: 1. Excellent communication skills - inbound and outbound phone calls in a professional manner, writing and replying effective emails. 2. Strong administrative skills 3. Experience using Microsoft Excel – includes the beginner and some intermediate Excel topics. 4. Critical thinking skills and problem solving ability 5. Time management skills 6. Working as part of a team of people, have experience in a business environment as a Team player 7. Basic level understanding of Smartphone functionality, setup of email on a phone, initial Phone activation experience. 8. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment. Handle multiple orders, with interruptions and escalations during the business day, organized to track each order in an organized way to minimize mistakes. 9. Ability to learn phone activation instructions and visualize the screen that the End User should see, and walk a person through the phone activation screens while speaking to them on the phone.
  • Duties and Responsibilities of a Mobile Phone Administrator: • Provide basic end user support for BASF Cell phone activations (following detailed instructions, training will be provided), including the BASF email setup on phones. • Work with Excel spreadsheets for rollout of 7,000 mobile phones (main resource for user list to order, track and keep up to date) • Handling BASF system (gAHD) request and incident tickets. These are for additional orders that are not included in the Excel spreadsheet. • Ordering phones and accessories through vendor portals • Coordinate the shipping of phone orders, tracking phone orders, handle escalations and questions about shipping and tracking. • Send Emails with delivery and activation instructions to end users • Update new equipment in BASF Billing system
