Accounting Assistant

Springdale, AR

  • G/L Accounting
  • Start Date: ASAP Duration: Minimum of 2 months, possible extension to 6-12 months depending on how quickly the manager can find a permanent candidate. 
  • Hours: M-F 8-5 
  • Overtime Possible 
  • Weekend work possible, if approved
  • Work Environment: Professional 
  • Dress Code/Required PPE: Business Casual 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • General Ledger entries 
  • Assist with accounts payable duties. 
  • Customer service support (both internal and external customers) 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Please note:

  • The reason for the opening is that accounting assistance
  • The hiring process may take anywhere from 6-8 weeks but if they're unable to get someone in quickly, this position could be extended to 6-12 months.
  • The right candidate must be ready to hit the ground running, have excellent attention to detail and be organized.
  • Fast paced environment - must be comfortable with Excel and SAP.
  • Knowledge/experience could be more g/l accounting focused, but accuracy and detail oriented will be key to success in this role.
  • We'd like someone who has no problem committing to the entire project and potential extension as well as being able to start ASAP. 


Minimum Education Required: At least 2 years a/p experience 

Other Required Experience/Qualifications: Strong Excel, SAP 

Additional Preferred Experience/Qualifications:  JDE, and/or Mtech experience
