Job Description


Duties:

  • Perform testing for raw materials, intermediates and finished kits as required to meet Operations goals and objectives with direction as appropriate.
  • Assumes responsibility for the analysis and accuracy of data and trends, may also perform data validation to meet objectives and timelines.
  • Performs a variety of duties relating to production operations.
  • Follows departmental work instructions, SOPs, OSHA safety regulations and cGMPs/GLP to perform assigned tasks.
  • Monitor lab supply inventory, generate expense purchase requisitions, input production data and other work-output data into appropriate network (e.g. SAP / LIMS) and maintain documentation in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain departmental stock rooms, keep labs stocked, log books, prepare buffers as needed and for performing direct testing activities.
  • Scheduling of repairs and preventative maintenance as necessary and report malfunctions to supervisor.
  • Participates in routine laboratory maintenance including, routine cleaning, instrument maintenance and maintaining laboratories in audit ready condition.
  • Interface with internal and external groups to assure laboratory equipment maintenance, calibration and documents conform to established practices.
  • Attends required training classes and participates in on-the-job training.
  • Manages schedules, workload and establishes priorities using inputs from business requirements, SAP, and/or internal customer needs.


Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree required;¬†Bachelors Degree preferred
  • 0-2 years' experience in a laboratory or production environment desired
  • Demonstrates ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Directions for Testing (DFT) documents.
  • Demonstrates competence in reading and completing charts, forms, and other documents.
  • Ability to use personal computer with basic word- processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills highly desirable
